January 24, 2018 by Keith Haag

We are excited to announce that the Endeavor Farm brand is expanding into the sales arena with the launch of Endeavor Farm Sales! Effective immediately, we now offer consigning services for all major thoroughbred sales and look forward to extending our client services to yet another facet of the industry. Along with the new sales division comes a new hire for the team and a new member of the Endeavor family. Spearheading Endeavor Sales will be Laura Haag. Some of you know Laura already, as she is the wife of farm manager Keith Haag. For those of you who do not know Laura, she will be reaching out to you soon to introduce herself and to talk to you about how she can assist you in her new role here. Laura is from Bardstown, Kentucky and has lived in the Lexington area since 2006 when she started attending the University of Kentucky. She graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences with an emphasis in equine production. She then immediately began her graduate work studying equine nutrition under world renowned equine nutritionist Dr. Laurie Lawrence. While a student at UK, Laura worked at the University’s equine breeding and research operation, Maine Chance Farm. In addition, she completed internships through Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm as assistant sales coordinator and through Rood & Riddle working with reproduction specialist Dr. Pete Sheerin for a breeding season. She was also a part time tech for equine veterinarian Dr. Mike Beyer throughout college. After finishing school, Laura started working full time for Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm under farm veterinarian Dr. Jeremy Whitman. She worked in many capacities for Hill ‘n’ Dale for the past 4 ½ years and gained lots of valuable experience working in a largescale commercial environment. We look forward to Laura bringing her wealth of skills and knowledge here to Endeavor and we know that she is excited to join the team. In addition to sales coordinating, Laura will also be active in client relations and communications, so you can expect to get to know her well! Starting this sales company is a huge undertaking for the farm and we know that we are very fortunate to have Laura to join and help us in this venture. If you all have any questions or concerns regarding Endeavor Sales, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to representing your horses at the sale!!!
