Twilght Eclipse caught at the wire to place in the United Nations Stakes (G1)

Twilight Eclipse put in a valiant effort yesterday in the Grade 1 United Nations Stakes at Monmouth Park but was caught at the wire to finish second by a neck. The 5-year-old son of Purim picked up $100,000 in his second start since returning from Meydan Racecourse in Dubai. Trained by Tom Albertrani for owner West Point Thoroughbreds, multiple graded stakes winning Twilight Eclipse increased his career earnings to over $820,000.
